Hey Chris and John,

As I was walking around my block scouring Philly bodegas for copies of the Inquirers misprinted headline declaring the Phillies the World Champs listening to your podcast, my ears perked up when I heard my name - thanks for answering my question in such detail. Gotta little behind on the podcasts, so I'm playing catch up. I'll check out that TweepML and download Tweetdeck. I've been using http://www.hootsuite.com, which is pretty user friendly and easy to manage multiple Twitter accounts, but I don't think there are any mass-follow mechanisms. Anyway, keep up the great content.

Thanks a bunch,

Everett

I teach undergraduate and graduate marketing and advertising courses. I'm running on the treadmill and hear your comments about the technology course you spoke to and received "less than outstanding" feedback regarding their knowledge of SEO... and almost fall off during my jog!

Not because I was so stunned but because it's such an interesting question for those of us who struggle with putting a course together that is relevant but also has depth and does not cause "territorial battles" between the folks from business and IT.

So I'm answer your question with a question.

If you had to design an eight-week (8 Modules) Introduction to Marketing course... what topics would you cover... i.e. Module 1 = your title here.

Just curious because their are definitely many real world lessons that are not making it into our classrooms because of textbook contracts, technology challenged faculty, student aptitude, etc.

But for the sake of the question... what would you put in your Marketing 101 Course if you had eight weeks to deliver it - no boundaries and no restrictions as an online or face-to-face course.

Enjoy your show and hope you are able to respond to the above.

I teach undergraduate and graduate marketing and advertising courses. I'm running on the treadmill and hear your comments about the technology course you spoke to and received “less than outstanding” feedback regarding their knowledge of SEO… and almost fall off during my jog!

Not because I was so stunned but because it's such an interesting question for those of us who struggle with putting a course together that is relevant but also has depth and does not cause “territorial battles” between the folks from business and IT.

So I'm answer your question with a question.

If you had to design an eight-week (8 Modules) Introduction to Marketing course… what topics would you cover… i.e. Module 1 = your title here.

Just curious because their are definitely many real world lessons that are not making it into our classrooms because of textbook contracts, technology challenged faculty, student aptitude, etc.

But for the sake of the question… what would you put in your Marketing 101 Course if you had eight weeks to deliver it – no boundaries and no restrictions as an online or face-to-face course.

Enjoy your show and hope you are able to respond to the above. Andy
